X= 1.8

Explanation:

If I’m not mistaken then this is how to work it out. X^2 + 4x -9 =0. X^2 + 4x would be 5x. 5x - 9 = 0. +9 on both sides. 5x=9. Divide by 5 on each side. X= 1.8
