Well finding the y-intercept you have to see what goes through the y-axis in this case it is -4

To find the slope you can do
(rise)/(run)

or you can use the slope formula which is


(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

In this case, I'll be using the slope formula I'll pick two coordinate which are (0,-4) and (3,2). I'll be plugging that in


(2-(-4))/(3-0)=
(6)/(3)

We will simplify
(6)/(3) which will equal to 2
