X=-1, y=1

Explanation:

Substitute value of y in first equation (3x+4) with y of second equation.

2x-4(3x+4)=-6

2x-12x-16=-6

-10x=10x=-1

solve for y but putting -1 for x value in either equation

y=3(-1)+4

y=-3+4

y=1
