Answer:

Explanation:

Lets take 4905 and 802

Firstly to figure out which of these two numbers is bigger we first look at the highest place value that either one of these two numbers have

In this case its 4 in the thousands place in the number 4905

Next we look at which number 802 has in the thousands place

In this case there is no number or 0

4 is bigger than 0 so we know that 4905 is bigger than 802

Lets take another example

4905 and 8204

Here both numbers have a number in the thousands place on is 8 and the other is 4

8 is bigger than 4 so 8204 must be larger

I'm just saying comparing integers should come very easily and you really don't need to think much to figure this out

I'm guessing you mean how do you compare numbers which are non-integers like 4/6 or 4/5 and this is quite easy

There are multiple ways but one method is to just multiply the denominator of one fraction with the numerator of the other and do the same for the other fraction

lets take 4/6 and 4/5

4*5=20

and 4*6= 24

4/6 we can assign 20

and 4/5 is 24

the bigger number is 24 so 4/5 is bigger
