Hey it's 10 points related to maths

A shopkeeper sells apples in two types of boxes, one small and one large. A large box
contains as many as 8 small boxes plus 4 loose apples. The number of apples in a
large box is given to be 100. Find the number of apples in a small box.​

Answer:

12 apple in a small box.

Explanation:

If there's 100 in a large box, then subtract the 4 loose apples to only have left 96 apples among the 8 small boxes. 96/8 is 12 apples per small box
