The bottom of a ladder must be place 5 feet from a wall. The ladder is 13 feet long. How far above the ground does the ladder touch the wall?​

Hypotenuse ^2= altitude^2+ base^2

altitude ^2=hypotenuse^2-base^2

=13^2-5^2
