Where m is the slope/gradient and where c is the y-intercept.

All we have to do for this equation s just a simple switch of 2 terms to make it in this format. By the way g(x) and y are the same.

g(x) = 19.60+1.74x

Swap 19.60 and 1.74x:

g(x)=1.74x+19.60

Now we can see that m = 1.74 not 1.74x
