Explanation:

So take your lowest point (1, 10) and highest point (8, 59) and arranage them into a division problem so it looks like this 59 - 10/ 8 - 1. Once you use pemdas to reduce this divison problem it gives you 7 so them. Now you have your mx all we have to do now is find your b to do that you take your lowest y value 10 and set that equal to 7 + b. Now solve Algebraically to get b = 3.
