2(3)^2 - 5(3)^2

We put (3)^2 out, we have :

2(3)^2 - 5(3)^2 = (3)^2 (2-5) = (-3)9 = -27.

Recheck : 2(3)^2 = 2 x 9 = 18
5(3)^2 = 5 x 9 = 45

18-45 = -27
