Yes, art does have a purpose. It’s purpose is to move people and to evoke their emotions. These emotions may vary depending on the artwork, but people may often feel moved by the emotional aspect of the artwork. I believe that out of all of the items listed in which art should influence is environmental views. Art could change peoples ideas on environmental issues such as climate change, and could truly reach an incredible understanding between people and the devastating affects of environmental issues.
