Jane is a single parent with three children. The twins are 5-year-old boys, and her oldest is a 15-year-old girl. The kids are often without school supplies, and sometimes her daughter has no lunch money because she can't afford them. Jane smokes two packs of cigarettes a day. What is your perception of Jane?

Jane is a terrible mom. A pack of cigarettes are expensive as it is.. she could be using that money for food and school supplies.
