Pyramid a has a lateral edge of 10 and a height of 8. Pyramid B has a lateral edges of length 15 and height 12. Both A and B are regular square pyramids. What is the ratio of the lateral areas of the pyramids?

Answer:

Pyramid A had a lateral area of 100 and Pyramid B has a Lateral area of 225

so 100:225 or 4:9, due to the fact that both have square bases just muliply the lateral edge by itself
