Given 2x+3y=7 ...... (i)

and 3x+2y=3 .......... (ii)

On subtracting (ii) from (i) we get

2x+3y−3x−2y=7−3

⟹−x+y=4

⟹x−y=−4

Hence, the answer is −4.
