(the hypotenuse has to be
c^(2))


9.2^(2) + b^(2) = 16.5^(2)


84.64 + b^(2) = 272.25


b^(2) = 187.61

(to get
b alone you have to find the square root of both sides)


b = 13.69707

round that and you get


b = 13.7!
