Qualitative refers to written, non-numerical data.

Quantitative refers to numerical data so any measurement, any number.

So in an experiment a change that can be measured as a value say a change in volume or mass is quantitative but a change in colour or smell would be qualitative.

The candy was sour is qualitative.
The bug was 5cm long is quantitative.
The flower is red is qualitative.

Now try the rest!!
