In a public place, it is best to be casual about it. It is not necessary that you ask each person covered in your shot to be requested permission but if anyone expresses that they do now not prefer to be taken an image of, then take that into consideration. They might also not want to be in a picture because of religious reasons.

You are photographing in a park. You notice that the backyard next to the park may have some interesting photograph possibilities. What should you do?

If you are taking photos of private property, ask for permission. Just because you like what you see doesn't mean it's okay to post them, as it might give away their location, and they might not want to take pictures of their yard.

You are on vacation and see an old man sitting by the sea. You think this would make a great photograph. What should you do?

First, you should ask the man for permission to take a photo of him. Then, it might be unnecessary to take out your tripod, since others walking by might trip on it. If the man says no to taking his picture, then try to go to a different location.

You are visiting a museum, and you want to take some photographs inside it. What should you do?

First, make sure they allow photography. If they do allow photographs, make sure you don’t use flash since that may hurt the paintings, distract others, and take away the experience of the museum for others. If they don’t, you can try to look online for the piece of art you liked.

You have a photograph that you’d like to sell. What should you do?

The first step is to get permission from the photographer to post the picture and credit the photographer. If they grant permission, use a safe website to post the picture.

You find a picture online that you’d like to post on your () wall. What should you do?

Make sure you ask your parents if you are allowed to use social media, in this case, (). If you are allowed to post the photos, make sure you give credit to the photographer.
