To find the percentage of people that play the violin, you first need to find the tots number of students. To do this add up all the students that play the different instruments. 14+12+10+4=40

Now divide the number of violin players by the total number of people in the orchestra. 14/40=0.35

Now multiply 0.35 by 100 to make it an actual percentage. 0.35*100=35

So 35% of the orchestra plays the violin
