One of the Founding Fathers of The United States, James Madison, once noted that "If men were angels, no government would be necessary".

What does Madison mean by this and why then is it important that humans organize into governments? Why is government important in your mind?

Answer: I believe that when Madison said "If men were angels, no government would be necessary" he could mean that if men could be unproblematic there wouldn't be a need for government because everyone would just be able to live in peace and there wouldn't need to be ruling.

It is important to for humans to organize into governments so everybody knows where everybody stands. Government is important in my mind because it gives society a foundation to stand on.

Explanation: I don't know tbh I could be completely off but that's how I would answer the question.
