What are the dimensions (in cm) of the enlarged picture?

A teacher is showing a picture on a screen.
The picture is 12cm by 8cm.The screen is 2.4m by 2m

The teacher enlarges the image on the screen so it is as big as possible without distorting its proportions.

Answer:

Below

Explanation:

Picture is .12 x .08 m

2 m / .08 m = 25

2.4 m / .12 m = 20 <===== limiting factor ( 20 is less than 25)

so it would be 20 * (.12) X 20(.08) = 3.84 m^2
