If you compare any corresponding parts, say the segment AB and segment PQ, the slope is the same: 1/3 = 3/9 and this sizing change is the same for all the line segments.
BC = 1/1, QR = 3/3
CD = 2/1, RS = 6/3
DA = 2/3, SP = 6/9
So the side lengths changed by the same scale factor, while keeping the same angle/slope.
