#1: Take 320, and divide it by the 14%. This should get you how many people are eqivlelent to 1 percent. When I did it out, 320/14 is equal 22.857143...

Remember this is 1%, and we need to find 100%. So we need to multiply the 1%, which was 22.857143, by 100.

This should get you 2,285.7143.

#2 Take your 100%, and divide it by the 14% that make up the 65+ population. This should get you 7.1428571.

Now you just have to multiply this number by the amount of 65+ residents, which is 320. So you should multiply 320x7.1428571.

This should get you the same exact answer, 2,285.7143
