Answer:

the missing value is 18.

Explanation:

First i converted the percentage to a fraction which was 30% was 3/10 or 0.3 or 3 and 100% was 1 so i took those numbers with 54, 1, 3, and Solve for an unknown value x with this fractions calculator. Find the missing fraction variable in the proportion using cross multiplication to calculate the unknown variable x. Solve the proportion between 2 fractions and calculate the missing fraction variable in equal's.

For the equation

543=x1

The cross product is

54×1=3×x

Solving for x

x=54×13

and reducing

x=18

Solution by Proportion

Since the equation is an equality

If

3 ÷ 1 = 3

Then it is true that

54 ÷ x = 3

Solving for x

x = 54 ÷ 3

x = 18
