probability of selecting an oatmeal cookie = number of oatmeal cookies / total number of cookies

total number of cookies = 7 + 7 + 7 + 8 = 29

probability of selecting an oatmeal cookie = 7/29

probability of selecting a peanut butter cookie = 7/28
