Answer: 1084512000 cars in a certain country

Explanation:

In 2022 there are 79,000,000 cars in the certain country.

When x=0 it is 2022 and the number of cars increases by 5.6% each year. You need to find the number of cars in 2035.

- 2035-2022= 13 , so we are finding the number of cars when x=13

equation is 79000000(1.056x)= #of cars in a certain country, where x= number of years.

You find this from the start # of cars times the rate it will increases times the number of years it is increasing. We start at 79 million so that will be the number the rate is multiplied by.

It is increasing at a rate of 5.6%, so to find the number it needs to be multiplied by you convert percent to decimal so 5.6% /100= 0.056 and it is increasing so it will be multiplied by 1.056 this will cause you to get the start number plus 5.6% of the start number added onto it.

Therefore,

79000000(1.056x)=# of cars in a certain country and evaluating when x=13

79000000(1.056(13)= # of cars in 2035

# of cars= 1,084,512,000 when x=13 and the answer is already rounded to the nearest thousand.
