Lets Solve!

1. Move 12 to the right side.

  • -7√(x-5)=-8

2. Divide both sides by -7.

  • (-7√(x-5) )/(-7) =(-8)/(-7)

3. Simplify.

  • √(x-5)=(8)/(7)

4. Square both sides.

  • x-5=(64)/(49)

5. Solve
x-5=(64)/(49)

  • x=(309)/(49)

Hence, our solution.
