Explanation:

In the graph we have to identify the slope and y-intercept.

Y-intercept = -2 (In the graph it goes down two units)

To find the slope I identified the next nearest point, which was (2,-1).

From my y-intercept, -2, I had to go up one unit and two units to the right.

That makes my slope = 1/2

You need to remember slope intercept form is: y=mx+b

When plugging in the numbers you get:

y=1/2x-2
