Then, he begins to mention how he honestly dislikes spending money since, it's unfortunately tight. Throughout the poem, it begins to get sadder. The author loses the very same confidence he held onto. Money becomes a chore for him, and not a privilege. He begins to sound very inexperienced, which is ironic since Soto is trying to teach another person how the world works.
