The answer is 2* (4^2 + squared root of 36) - 13

Answer:

2 * (4^2 + squared root of 36) - 13

since the space where the _ are, that's where the parenthyeses would be placed. If you place these around 2, you get 25, is around 4^2, it's also 25, if placed around square root of 36, it will also be 25, but if placed around -13, it's -46. But place then around 4^2 + the square root of 36, then you will get your answer of 31 simplified.
