this equation looks like this


w = (x)/(y - z)

to solve for x you can multiply both sides by y - z

this would cancel out the y - z on the bottom

this would make it


w(y - z) = x

now you must distribute and switch the x to the other side


wy - wz = x


x = wy - wz
