First, we can put this in improper fraction form. 2 and 1/2 will turn into 5/2.
Then, we use keep change flip. Keep 5/2, change into multiplication, flip 4/5. This turns into:

5/2 * 5/4
multiply numerator and denominator
25/8
The answer is 3 1/8
