To create privacy during testing, a window that measures 3.55 m by 2.28 m needs to be covered. All you have is sheets of paper which measure 21.6 cm by 28 cm. How many sheets of paper will it take to cover the window? answer rlly quick plzz

What we need to do, is figure out the exact area of the window, and the area of the paper sheets. Then, we must convert meters to centimeters, in order to be correct.

Consider R to be the total area of the window.

Consider A to be the area of each sheet of paper.

3.55m * 2.28m = R

8.094m = R

21.6cm * 28cm = A

604.8cm = A

Now, we should convert meters to centimeters.

8.094m = 809.4cm

Then we'd divide to find out how much paper will be required

809.4 ÷604.8 = ≈ 1.34

So, they'll need want to have at least 1.34 sheets of paper, which isn't too unrealistic, but if we're looking for whole sheets, then they will need 2 sheets of paper.
