Answer:

x = 8

Explanation:

the opposite angles LMN and JPN are congruent , then

∠ LPM and ∠ LMP are congruent , so

7x + 2 = 58 ( subtract 2 from both sides )

7x = 56 ( divide both sides by 7 )

x = 8

Answer:

x=15

Explanation:

So I could be wrong because I haven't done these in a long time but...

To solve you set these values equal to 180 degrees because the inside of a triangle= 180.

I know this shape isn't a triangle but the angle we're solving for (Lmp and Lpm) is a triangle.

so you do 8x (because there's an extra x in PLM the corner all the way on the left)

8x+58+2=180

8x+60=180

8x=120

divide on both sides

120/8= 15

x=15
