johnny gets jumped then the gang protects them then they run into the soc after ponyboy runs because darry is frustrated at him for coming home so late and johnny kills the socs for trying to drown ponyboy then dally helps them escape and they go to a church cutting their hair since they are wanted and the news comes to dally when he visits them and the church randomly went on fire and ponyboy and johnny went to the church while it was burning to save the children and ponyboy gets minor injuries while ponyboy dies because of his burns
