Mildred betrays Montag and calls the cops on him. It starts with Montag watching Clarisses house be emptied and he puts together that Mildred called the alarm. He has to burn her house down and then Beatty arrests him. He ends up burning hun with his flamethrower and knocking out the other firemen. During his escape he is bit by a Hound and ends up knocking it out. He calls Faber and Faber tells him to follow the railroad tracks out of town and to meet him in St. Louis. During this call, we also learn that a helicopter and a Hound are after Montag.
