1: Strech your fingers, practice your scales, double check your music, tighten your bow, and make sure your instrument is in tune.
2: well Individually you learn to tune the instrument and asa a group you can tune it to other instruments in your section to get the right tone due to the diffrence in the instruments build
3: have your instrument on you lap or next to you on the floor (depending on Instrument) and the bow on stand next to your music being placed out in order of wich they are to be played. This is while you are waiting. While playing you have your feet flat on the floor and sitting at the edge of your chair and watching the conductor for the cue to start
4: Well Rosin is a big one a tuner as well. you should probably have somthing to clean your instrument off with so a cloth towel. Then depending on the instrument a rock-stop (cello's)
5: I'm not so sure it depends on the teacher but mine has me put my practice and workbooks on the left and my music on the right and I have my music in the order they were either given to me or the order we will play them at the consort.
