Answer: Area of triangle=30 cm²

Explanation:

Let's name the triangle ABC.

Assuming these are the 3 sides of the triangle, and naming them a,b,c.

a=5 cm

b=13 cm

c=12 cm

Semi perimeter of the triangle ABC= s = (a+b+c)/2

s=(5+13+12)/2 =30/2=15.

Area of triangle ABC= √(s * (s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)

= √(15*(15-5)*(15-13)*(15-12)

= √15*10*2*3

= √150*6

=√900

=30 cm²

Area of triangle ABC = 30 cm².
