Answer: y=(3/4)x+2

Explanation:

1. Find the slope (change of y/change of x)

(5-(-4))/(4-(-8)

9/12

SLOPE: 3/4

2. Find the y-intercept. Insert the points into an equation and find b.

5=(9/12)(4)+b

5=3+b

b=2

Y-INTERCEPT=2
