Answer:

The only thing similar thing between them is how addictive they can be to a person.smartphones are addictive because you can play games, socialize and do at lot in it, it gives stimuli just like drugs.Drugs are addictive because of the effect it could give to the brain

Once you are hooked it is hard to let it go. Take for example notifications. Thay are made to keep us online like „user posted a new photo, check it out“ etc.
