A: 1 mile B: 5/8 of a mile C: 9/8 of a mile or D: 11/8 of a mile. Here everyone seems to be saying it is B:5/8 but read again it says the sum so we add. 8/8 + 3/8= 11 so 8/8 + 3/8= 11/8 of a mile!!! hope this helps
