Answer:

SURFACE AREA OF TRIANGULAR PRISM IS---

area of two triangles:

h = 4, b = 6

A = 1/2(b)(h) = 1/2(6)(4) = 12 sq. ft (area of one triangle)

two triangles, so 12 sq. ft + 12 sq. ft = 24 sq. ft

area of two equal rectangles:

l = 7, w = 5

A = (l)(w) = (7)(5) = 35 sq. ft (area of one rectangle)

two rectangles, so 35 sq. ft + 35 sq. ft = 70 sq. ft

area of one (bottom) rectangle:

l = 7, w = 6

A = (l)(w) = (7)(6) = 42 sq. ft

24 + 70 + 42 = 136 sq. ft

Answer: 136 sq. ft
