We have to re-arrange it and graph it:


\begin{gathered} 7y-7=-x \\ 7y=-x+7 \\ y=-(1)/(7)x+1 \end{gathered}

The y-intercept is b=1. That tells us that the point (0,1) belongs to the line.

The slope is -1/7.

We could find another point of the line to help graphing.

When y=0, x=7, so the point (7,0) belongs to the line.
