27.85 feet

Explanation:

There might be a more advanced/simpler way to do this.

Perimeter of the squared end (3 of the 4 sides of the square) = 15 feet. Perimeter of the flat part of the rounded end is also = 5 feet.

So all we need is the arc. And they tell you it's a 1/4 circle. So it's 1/4 the circumference of the circle.

We know that the radius of the circle is 5 feet, because that's part of the square.

Circumference = 2(pi)(r)

C = (2)(3.14)(5)

C = 31.4

Divide that by 1/4 for the perimeter/circumference of that 1/4 circle = 7.85

15 + 5 + 7.85 = 27.85 feet
