We are to find the break-even point for the functions


\begin{gathered} C(x)=12x \\ R(x)=150-3x \end{gathered}

By definition

The break-even point is where revenue equals the cost

Drawing the graph of the two functions, we have

The blue line represents the function C(x)

The green line represents the function R(X)

At the point (10, 120), C(x) = R(x)

Therefore, the break-even point is
