We have to take into account that chemistry is very useful and important in the healthcare field for various reasons: one of them is the development of medicines that involves chemistry processes. Many of these medicines are formed by organic molecules. Antibiotics are chemicals that are created to kill or inhibit the growth of microorganisms, in this case, bacteria, which are derived from bacteria or molds such as penicillin. There are many antibiotics but in general, the chemical process consist in the fermentation of microorganisms (as we said before: bacteria or mold) that serve to inhibit bacterial growth through a culture medium to its growth.
