We were told that Chris answered 6 out of 20 Questions incorrectly. The ratio of incorrect answers to total questions is

6/20

Let x represent the number of questions that he answered incorrectly from a total of 30 questions. the ratio of incorrect to total questions is x/30

Given that this ratio is constant, it means that

6/20 = x/30

By cross multiplying, it becomes

20x = 180

x = 180/20

x = 9

If 9 answers were incorrect from 30 questions, then the number of correctly answered questions from 30 is

30 - 9 = 21
