A timeline is a useful tool for studying history. It creates a picture of when things happened. During the Middle Ages, events took place all over the world. You will create a timeline showing the relationship between these events. You have already learned about some of these events. The others will be covered in later units.

Use a variety of colored pencils to identify each event. Label each century line. Label and locate each event on the timeline. The two events marking the beginning and end of the Middle Ages have already been added for you.
