We have the next equation

5x+7=2\mleft(6x-14\mright)+56

First we will simplify the equation

5x+7=12x-28+56

we sum like terms

5x+7=12x+28

we subtract 7 on both sides

5x+7-7=12x+28-7
5x=12x+21

we subtract -12x on both sides

5x-12x=21
-7x=21

we divide -7 into both sides

(-7)/(-7)x=(21)/(-7)
x=-3

the value of x is -3
