y=k\cdot x

since the statement gives values of y and x, find the value of k

\begin{gathered} k=(y)/(x) \\ k=(1.5)/(6) \\ k=0.25=(1)/(4) \\ \text{the function is } \\ y=(1)/(4)x \end{gathered}
