The total number of students are T = 80.

Determine the number of students who are Female od Suwanee.

10+12+8+16=46

The probability for slected person is Student or Suwanee is,

\begin{gathered} P\text{ (Female or Suwanee)=}(46)/(80) \\ =(23\cdot2)/(40\cdot2) \\ =(23)/(40) \end{gathered}

So answer is 23/40.

Option A is correct.
