Help please!!

A triangle has vertices at (3, 5), (−5, 3), and (−3, 4). What are the coordinates of the vertices of the image after the translation (x, y) - (x + 3, y − 1)?

Answer:

(6,4), (-2,2), (0,3)

the triangle is translated 3 units to the right and 1 unit down

Explanation:

given vertices :

(3,5), (-5,3), (-3,4)

in the given co ordinates the first one corresponds to the x co ordinate and

the second one corresponds to the y co ordinate

after traslation :

(x,y) - > (x+3, y - 1) (function)

new 3 co ordinates are:

(3+3, 5-1), (-5+3,3-1), (-3+3,4-1)

= (6,4), (-2,2), (0,3)

the triangle is translated 3 units to the right and 1 unit down
